Bulletstorm
First Person Shooter(PC / Xbox 360 / Ps 3)
As Grayson Hunt, players wield an arsenal of over-the-top combat moves and outrageously large guns that feed into distinct ‘skillshot’ system producing unprecedented levels of frantic gameplay and yell-inducing satisfaction.
I was tasked with the facial mocap pipeline for Bulletstorm. We did use Captive Motions proprietary Embody technology. My responsibilities were:
- Directing the facial mocap actors
- Leading a 6 people team
- Building a pipeline from which the mocap data can be applied and motion edited with ease
- Maxscripts, designed to the needs of our motion editor team
- Controlling and correcting facial animations
- exporting and integrating directly into the cutscenes (UE3)
